St Albert Soap Box Derby hit the road in 2011 and has allowed hundreds of young kids and their families to experience the thrills of Soap Box Derby participation.

The St Albert Soap Box Derby presenting sponsor is Fountain Tire St Albert. The Fountain Tire vision is to grow the St Albert Soap Box by providing more inclusive racing opportunities for kids ages 6 to 14 as well as to increase community awareness and involvement with this fun event.

St Albert Soap Box Derby is organized and run by a group of community volunteers from St Albert and area with strong support from the St Albert business community.

Soap Box Derby technical and Race Day support is provided by the St Albert Cruisers Car club.

BUILD OPTIONS

Minimum cart construction costs $250, average $350 and custom is $$$.

Cost per racer is $35. Multiple family racers in different age categories can use same cart.
