Volunteers for Race Day are needed.

Volunteers are what make St Albert Soap Box successful. .

St Albert Soap Box is organized by a group of about 15-20 volunteers. The Working Group (WG) meets monthly for 2 hours (maximum) to move forward required tasks to make Soap Box successful.

Between monthly meetings, Volunteer Directors (for example the Food Director) works with others in the WG interested in a specific area and bring recommendations to the next WG meeting.

The WG has openings for Food Director and WG Minute recorder.

Build volunteers - During the Soap Box season Dec-June, volunteers are needed to for hands on help to build and maintain the Soap Box assets. Build volunteering could mean building brakes and or fixing Community Racer carts or ?? Lots to learn and experience.

Race Weekend in 2023, around 80 community volunteers helped setup and run practice on Friday and the full Race Day Saturday including pack up at the end of the day. The WG Volunteer Coordinator will call out to past volunteers and receive emails from interested potential volunteers in the April timeframe.

For those who enjoy seeing smiles on kids, parents and those in attendance, Soap Box is for you.
